Rehearsel 2022 (in progress)

I am exploring how the still image can tell narrative stories on the canvas in my ongoing painting series. I use the psychological phenomenon of ‘immersive daydreaming’ as the starting point. Especially under the haze of the pandemic, anxiety about reality seems to have become a shared state. I magnify the storyline of fantasies in the image and honestly expresses those exaggerated, fearful, disturbed and romantic imaginations in my heart through the behaviour of my Hairy-legs figures.
